The Trustees developed the Alston-Pleasants Post-Graduate Scholars Fund logo in early 2011 in an effort to increase awareness and recognition of the Fund.

What does the logo signify?

• The book represents an emphasis on continued studies for Alston-Pleasants Post-Graduate Scholars.
• The blue color relates to our ties to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
• The spaces between the columns represent the potential unlimited opportunities for our Scholars from the three home counties of Franklin, Halifax and Warren, North Carolina.
